Courtney Evenskaas

Courtney Evenskaas loves working in the field of autism. She finds it both challenging and rewarding at the same time and has learned so much from the children.
Courtney became familiar with the field of autism during her undergraduate studies in the Speech and Language Clinic. After graduating, Courtney provided speech therapy to students with special needs, including autism. Courtney decided to focus on the field of autism since it encompasses so much more that just speech and language.
Courtney now works for C.A.S.E., Inc. as a Behavioral Consultant and a Friends' Club Facilitator. She provides behavioral program consultations in addition to training school staff in implementing a social skills program for school recesses entitled, "Playground Patch."
Courtney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She has attended several classes related to the field of autism at Grossmont College and at San Diego State University. Courtney is currently working on her thesis to attain a Masters of Arts degree in education.
On her days off, she likes to ride her beach cruiser along the coast with friends, play Bocce ball with her husband, Jason, and water ski on the Colorado River with her family.
