Alyssa Safran was born and raised in Salt Lake City Utah, but traded the Utah snow for the California sunshine when she left for college in 2006.
Alyssa joined C.A.S.E, Inc. in 2010 after graduating from the University of Redlands where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders and a Minor in Psychology. Alyssa’s interest in autism developed after a summer of volunteering for a family with a teenager on the autism spectrum, and continued to grow after conducting research on the long term effectiveness of an autism intervention program with one of her professors the following summer. After completing an internship in a Redlands special education classroom before graduation, Alyssa was convinced that this was the right career path for her.
While in college, Alyssa spent a semester abroad in Europe, and she attributes this experience to her love for traveling. Other hobbies include cooking, running, reading, dancing and scrap-booking, as well as spending time with family and friends.
Alyssa is excited to be a part of such a dynamic organization. She hopes to share her passion for helping children on the autism spectrum enhance their quality of life.
