Photo of Brittany ShanahanBrittany Shanahan, M.Ed. Born and raised in southern California, received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado. After graduation, Brittany spent a year backpacking through most of South America before settling down in San Diego.

Eager to work with diverse populations, Brittany accepted a position with a not-for-profit counseling agency, eventually building a few years of experience in the field of Marketing and Communications. Although she enjoys event planning and advertising, her true passion is and always has been teaching. In 2008, Brittany decided to return to graduate school to complete her Masters in Special Education and dual credentials in Mild/Moderate and Multi-Subject teaching. She has since taught in a variety of classroom settings including both private and public schools, elementary through twelfth grade.

Brittany joined CASE as the Lead Teacher for the education program, and she is thrilled to help guide her students to become lifelong learners.
