Tess joined C.A.S.E. in 2007 as a Behavioral Consultant. She earned her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University-Hawaii in August 2010 and her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Hawaii Pacific University in 2002. Tess began her work with children on the Autism spectrum and other behavioral challenges soon after. She gained knowledge, training and utilization of ABA methods under direct supervision of BCBA’s. For over 7 years, Tess has served children in the school setting ranging in various challenges from mild to severely impacted Autism as a Skills Trainer, Parent Trainer and Behavioral Consultant. She has always loved kids and believes that early intervention will provide a greater quality of life for our kiddos as they get older which brought her to C.A.S.E. Her experience with special needs began when she was 11 years old having foster brothers and sisters with developmental disabilities. This experience has opened her eyes to the many gifts that we take for granted and allows her to appreciate the little things. Tess feels she continues to grow as a person and the kids teach her so much. In her free time, Tess enjoys spending time with family and friends, hanging out with Peanut; her puppy, beach, retail therapy and taking naps.
