    Nancy joined CASE, Inc. as our Speech and Language Consultant in 2005. She is often seen at the office working with our staff and the children we serve or doing parent training with families in the Infant home programs. Each staff member has also attended her training on language development and typical language skills as a requirement for working with CASE, Inc. Nancy co-treats many of our clients.

    Nancy has been working as a speech-language pathologist for over 21 years now. She has worked in public schools, private schools, and clinics. Since 1999, she has had her own private practice in Carlsbad. Nancy has experience with many different children at many ages. She understands pragmatic language issues and often evaluates and makes recommendations on pragmatics, which our children on the autistic spectrum often find challenging. In addition, she also has experience working with all sorts of speech and language disorders, from simple delays to apraxia, autism and autism spectrum disorders, Asperger’s, language based learning disabilities, and central auditory processing.

    When she's not working, she is busy parenting her own 6-year-old son and she also enjoys many different types of crafts, such as knitting, crocheting and stained glass. Her family and being able to go to the beach are important past times for her.
